About Me

nayan: A women's wear designer with costume designing capabilities and marginal experience in men's wear designing and development. A dynamic professional with the ability to organize and resolves conflicts and design grey areas. Creative in designing surface textures and ornamentation and extensive knowledge on digital printing and collection development. A post-graduate student of Apparel Design and Merchandising from the National Institute of Design. In 2010, graduated from AIFD, Bangalore in Fashion and Apparel Design. Along the way, became a professional anchor for event management companies. Between 2006-2007 also played music professionally alongside Dj Uzair in Bangalore. In 2010 also began the first freelance project as a costume designer for Bingo chips scratch ads in Bangalore. In June 2011 got national recognition for being a finalist in World of Wearable Art, New Zealand for the UV garment Vibes . Vibes was also showcased in Delhi in the prestigious wills 2012 trade show. In 2012 interned with the renowned designer Rina Dhaka post which, also got the opportunity to work on a diploma project with the internationally acclaimed designer Sanchita Ajjampur between 2012- 2013.
